Welcome

a place where thoughts drift, collide, dissolve into static. where the love overflows until it spills. where the stillborn heart keeps beating.

You are killing me

Staying still causes suffering. Taking responsibility causes suffering. Moving forward, staying back—it doesn't matter. The suffering is structural, not circumstantial.

"I am doing this, and I know I'm doing it, and I don't know how to stop or if I even want to."

On Self-Destruction

Self-destruction, not out of carelessness but out of melancholy. Out of existential dread that has nowhere else to go except inward, turning the body into an experiment, the days into variables I can control by destroying them.

I have never breathed like this

The Stillborn Heart

It's something closer to sadness. A deep, old sadness. The kind of love a mother must have for a child born still—whole and perfect and never breathing.

This heart overflows. It weeps from its vessel. The love is so much that it has nowhere to go, so it just spills, and spills, and the spilling itself becomes the ache.

From: Empathy is a Bitch

I see a homeless man sleeping on cardboard
and I don't just see him—
I see his childhood, his choices, his bad luck,
the systems that failed him,
the people who gave up,
the slow erosion of dignity that led here.

I see all of it at once
and I cannot move.

"Empathy is feeling everything and being able to do nothing."

— Empathy is a Bitch
On Paralysis

You can't walk past suffering because you feel it too deeply to ignore, but you can't fix it either because the problems are too big, too systemic, too endless. So you stand there. Feeling everything. Doing nothing. Hating yourself for both.

I have empathy for the anger I should feel.
I understand why I should be furious.
I can articulate the injustice perfectly.

But I can't access the anger itself
because the metacognition got there first,
analyzed it, contextualized it,
turned it into something I understand
instead of something I can use.

Empathy eats rage before rage can become action.

Things I Ponder
Agency ≠ Control

I can choose the self-destructive path. I can choose distractions, numbness, the slow unraveling. I can call this freedom because I am the one choosing it.

But what if the choice itself is the cage? What if believing I can stop whenever I want is just another way of not stopping?

"Is it because ruin at least feels like mine? Because destruction, when chosen, looks like agency even when it's the opposite?"

— Untitled

The love remains. The ache remains. The stillborn heart keeps beating in a chest that won't let go.

And I keep choosing, over and over, to bleed.

A heart that feels too much to function,
a mind that understands too much to hope,
a body that's gone numb from carrying
the weight of perceiving everyone's suffering
while being able to alleviate none of it.

And the worst part?
You can't even stop feeling.
You can't turn it off.
You can only go numb
and pretend that numbness
isn't its own kind of suffering.

From: First Breath

Maybe meaning isn't about building a life that looks impressive from the outside. Maybe it's about building a life you can breathe in.

"You can just be here. Taking up space. Breathing. Existing in the small, quiet moments between all the noise we make trying to justify our existence."

— First Breath
On Purpose

Purpose is the story we tell ourselves to make the randomness feel manageable. It's the architecture we build to avoid facing the terrifying freedom of a life that doesn't come with instructions.

Maybe purpose doesn't need to be lost. Maybe it just needs to be smaller. Less architectural. More like breathing—necessary but not something you think about constantly.

"No revelation. No sudden clarity about what you're supposed to do with your life. Just the knowledge that you're here. That you're breathing. That maybe that's enough."

— First Breath
